2025 KBP Member Summit Showcases Strategies to Build Healthier Workforces

Lancaster, PA – Keystone Benefits Partners (KBP) proudly hosted its annual Member Summit on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Lancaster Marriott Penn Square. With 171 attendees and 49 member companies represented, the Summit centered on the theme Driving Change for Tomorrow and brought the KBP community together in a meaningful way.

The theme underscored KBP’s commitment to equipping members with forward-thinking strategies that reimagine health, wellness, and benefits for a stronger tomorrow. More than just a gathering, the Summit challenged attendees to think differently, explore bold solutions, and consider how the choices made today can transform the well-being of their employees and the strength of their organizations in the years ahead.

The day began with the KBP Semi-Annual Member Meeting, which included committee updates, program strategy, and discussion around opportunities to deliver greater value for members.

The Summit featured two dynamic keynote presentations:

  • Pharmacy Benefits – Effective Solutions in the Diet of Services, presented by Peter Mikhail, President & CEO of RXTalents, highlighted practical, cost-saving approaches in pharmacy benefits.
  • A Heart Surgeon’s Guide to Better Employee Health, led by Dr. Phillip Ovadia, Board-Certified Cardiac Surgeon & Founder of Ovadia Heart Health, inspired attendees with evidence-based guidance for improving workforce health and preventing chronic disease.

Beyond the general sessions, participants explored the Vendor Village, engaging with 19 vendors who showcased innovative tools, resources, and solutions. The Summit concluded with a celebratory happy hour, offering members and sponsors the chance to connect in a more relaxed setting.

“The 2025 KBP Member Summit was a great day of energy and enthusiasm as we brought together our member-owners with our partners for lively conversation on growing the group, cost containment strategies, reversing the chronic disease crisis, and innovative solutions in pharmacy and medical activities, wellness, and more,” said Mark Wheeler, Vice President of the KBP Executive Committee. “With experts from across the health field, more than 200 people shared best practices and industry trends on how we bend the cost curve for our group. Strength, control, and stability remain the hallmark of KBP, and the Summit reminded us why being part of this group is the best place to be for employee benefit plans.”

The KBP Member Summit continues to expand each year, providing members and partners with practical strategies, stronger connections, and lasting value.
